Buono stato di conservazione. Questo foglio piuttosto raro, rappresenta uno dei progetti dell’Ingegnere inglese Neville, per il ponte di ferro che collegava il Campo San Vidal con la Scuola della Carità, poi Accademia delle Belle Arti. Il Ponte, giunto prefabbricato a Venezia, sotto l’egida del Governo Austriaco, venne sostituito nel 1933 dall’attuale ponte in legno dell’Ingegner Miozzi. Dal punto di vista estetico questo ponte in ferro, sebbene poco apprezzato dalla città, era un manufatto estremamente avveneristico quanto a struttura e materiali.

This rather rare print depicts one of the designs by the English engineer Neville for the iron bridge that linked Campo San Vidal with the Scuola della Carità, later the Academy of Fine Arts. The bridge, which arrived in Venice as a prefabricated structure under the auspices of the Austrian Government, was replaced in 1933 by the current wooden bridge designed by Engineer Miozzi. From an aesthetic point of view, this iron bridge, although not particularly appreciated by the city, was an extremely avant-garde structure in terms of both design and materials.
