La Libreria Emiliana è la più antica libreria di Venezia. La sua storia comincia già alla metà dell'800: la Tipografia Emiliana stampò alcune delle più belle opere per il grande editore veneziano Ferdinando Ongania, poi continuò la sua notevole attività editoriale fino alla fine del XX secolo.
The Libreria Emiliana is the oldest bookshop in Venice, the place were you can find books on Venice from the XV to the XXI century and above all old rare books including maps, engravings, bibliography, art and history on the Serenissima Republic. The Libreria Emiliana was opened in the 19th century and it originated from the Emiliana Press which printed some of the most beautiful books for the great Venetian publisher Ferdinando Ongania.
